The work of Renée Pevernagie (°1990) is rooted in her fascination with plants, buildings, people and landscapes that are undergoing a phase of transition. A keen observer, she distils her impressions into drawings that are often monumental in scale. The combination of her drawing technique and her approach to the subject lends her work a certain fragility and volatility. Renée studied visual arts at LUCA School of Arts in Ghent. Her work has been exhibited at various art spaces, cultural centres and events, including CC de Ververij, BLANCO, the Biennale of Belgium, croxhapox, Het Entrepot and De Bijloke.
